Back on Duty: Finn's Story

Facing a $2,000+ surgery with no guarantee of success, Finn's family chose a path that let him stay right where he belongs, with his flock.

Meet Finn.

Meet Finn, a 7-year-old Great Pyrenees who takes his job seriously. As a working farm dog, Finn protects a flock of chickens from predators, and being separated from them, even to heal, was never going to be easy on him.

A few months ago, Finn injured his cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), the canine equivalent of a torn ACL. His vet gave the family two options: a $2,000+ surgery that might or might not fully heal the injury, or a different path. Knowing Finn would be miserable confined indoors and away from the flock he loves guarding, his family chose Red Light Therapy instead, using an EquiSol Red Light Therapy Leg Wrap.

Finn never had to leave his comfort zone. He stayed out in the field with his chickens and came into the barn twice a day for a month to receive his treatments. His family watched him get better and better right before their eyes. Today, Finn isn't limping anymore.
